CHESHIRE landmark Peckforton Castle is on track for the restoration of a formerly unused part of the building and the grand unveiling of its new £1.7m facilities this summer.

Set to open in July following months of activity, the new facilities will help create up to 15 new jobs for the area taking the number of staff at the Castle to more than 150.

The new facilities will also provide much needed additional capacity at this busy hotel. Ten of the 11 new en-suite bedrooms, the Twenty10 brasserie and the mini spa, which will host three beauty treatment rooms, will open in July. The 11th bedroom will be available as soon as the bats have moved into their specially commissioned bat boxes.
