A NATIONAL IT support firm has moved into the city to help Chester's small businesses.

The PC Support Group will provide technology support and expertise to small and medium-sized businesses across Chester, North Wales and Wirral from the Chester branch it is opening this week.

It is the firm's seventh branch in the UK.

Through a combination of advanced remote technology and local engineers, The PC Support Group’s services range from one-off problem solving and server management, data recovery and back-up to PC or entire office set up – ideal for small businesses and start-ups in Chester.

The branch is headed up by regional director, Shab Syed, 30, from Prenton.

He said: “Technology is so central to the way businesses operate today, but SMEs often struggle to use the wealth of benefits IT can bring or find the best support when they need it.

“Although IT support has gained a bad reputation due to poor customer service and lack of expertise, The PC Support Group delivers a high quality service without the usually associated high costs and I’m delighted to bring that to Chester.”
