TRAIN fans who have travelled the rails of Cheshire are asked to share their memories.

Thousands of people have travelled the line between Chester and Manchester, enjoying watching the villages of Cheshire roll by.

And now passengers are asked to share their travelling memories and platform photos to form a nostalgic picture of Cheshire railway’s journey through the ages.

Members of The Mid Cheshire Rail Users Association (MCRUA) are hoping passengers who travelled on their steam specials or the diesel rail tours and the yearly scenic tour will share their experiences.

The MCRUA has set up a new website documenting the trains trips, which first started back in 1988.
