Drivers are advised to expect roadworks as lanes on St Oswald's Way are closed overnight tonight (Monday)

Motorists in Chester are being advised to anticipate traffic congestion due to overnight lane closures on St Oswald’s Way tonight (Monday May 11).

One lane will be closed in each direction from 7pm and the closures are expected to be in place for most of the night to allow contractors working on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council to carry out a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey on the central reservation.

The survey will provide information for work on the planned new bus interchange at nearby Gorse Stacks.
