Miller & Carter is raising the steaks in Chester with the opportunity to work in a prestigious new restaurant.

The site, which will be situated underneath Cheshire West and Chester Council headquarters in Nicholas Street, will have capacity for more than 150 guests.

Originally scheduled to open late July, the restaurant will now greet customers from September following an extensive fit-out which is currently underway.

The new steak house is seeking to recruit for kitchen roles, including chefs, dessert chefs and grill chefs to cook up the award-winning steaks ready for the launch.

Miller & Carter is also on the lookout for any budding bartenders who can shake up a cocktail and match wines to the perfect steak, as well talented team members to work front-of-house.

Matt Vague, general manager at Miller & Carter Chester HQ, said: “Bringing a new Miller & Carter to Chester is extremely exciting for the brand and we’re really pleased to be able to grow the team further. Everyone who works for us is completely obsessed with steak and we’re keen to recruit people who share in our love for excellent quality – both food and service.

“We’re looking to attract applicants with enthusiasm to join the team and become official steak geeks. We want team members to deliver a fantastic experience for every guest that walks through our doors, as we gear up to our opening in September.”

The Miller & Carter Chester HQ will be the fourth Cheshire site for the brand, with three popular Miller & Carter steak houses already located in Ellesmere Port, Wilmslow and Warrington. The menu will also feature a number of non-steak cuisine, such as BBQ dishes, burgers and fish, as well as vegetarian options. For more information, visit the website.
