A FORMER deputy headteacher of a city school has been able to put the name to some faces printed on our Nostalgia page recently.
John Alexander, who worked at St Thomas of Canterbury Junior School during the 1970s, recognised himself in a photograph published on December 13 last year.
John is second from the right in the front row.
He said: “I spent some of the happiest years of my teaching career at the school. I would like to thank the parents, the staff and most of all the many pupils I taught for the opportunity of being part of their school lives.”
