A PORCH at the front of a home on the city's outskirts would be in keeping, planners believed.

The application was put forward at 72 Lache Lane, Chester by Mr R Simpson.

Mr Simpson told planners he also proposed to remove hanging tiles from the property and render the exterior.

No objections were raised by neighbours who were consulted.

There would be no unacceptable effect on the amenity of nearby occupiers including overlooking, loss of privacy, loss of light or overshadowing, planners believed.
