LIFE is a catwalk for model student Nicole Tallant after entering just one beauty competition.
Nicole, 18, was named Chester Model Girl 2008 at a Model Search UK event at Hoole Hall Hotel.
The former Christleton High School student won a one-year casting contract with Impact Models Agency, a £250 photographic portfolio with Dave Williams of Chester and £200 worth of make-up.
Nicole, of Guilden Sutton, said: “I am taking a gap year before going to university next September and this is the first competition I have ever entered, so I was really surprised to win.”
Nicole is working at the Mill Hotel to try and save some money during her gap year. She has applied to Jesus College, Oxford to read Philosophy and Theology.
Second place went to Natasha Gillan of Winsford and Melissa Underhill of Mouldsworth came third.
The event raised funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Sarah Bowring of Wrexham was named Chester Charity Model Girl 2008 after raising £200 for the charity.
