SHE might not have returned home as the world’s top model, but Nicola Moriarty has come up with an exciting offer.

The Chester-born beauty, the current Miss British Isles, flew out to Egypt for a world modelling competition but came back with the opportunity to run her own pageant.

She will organise everything from the location to the sponsors – and get to jet off with the winners to the world competition.

The 26-year-old, of Runcorn, said: “I was offered the directorship to do top model of Britain – I’ll be too old to take part in the pageant next year.

“I’ll organise everything. It’s going to be a long year!”

Nicola was offered the franchise after spending 10 days in Egypt at the Top Model of the World competition.

She said: “When you’re going to a restaurant and getting invited to places they’re watching you like a hawk. If you come down in something that’s not appropriate you’ll get marked down – but that’s what modelling’s like. All the girls that partied got knocked out in the first round.”

After bikini, casual wear and evening gown rounds, Nicola was selected for the top 40 from 52 “top class” models.

She will swap the catwalk for the office as she begins organising a pageant next week.
