CHILDREN at Newton Primary School are learning about keeping safe on the roads.
The youngsters have been baking traffic light biscuits and looking at the Green Cross Code as part of National Road Safety Week.
The children also visited the Cheshire West and Chester Road Safety and school transport websites to take part in educational games.
Younger children made use of an electric miniature pelican crossing set, including traffic lights, Belisha beacons, a zebra crossing mat, school patrol crossing outfit and lollipop.
