LACHE Park Ltd has a new home.
The charitable company, which provides support for the people of Lache Park, is now based at Hawthorn House in Hawthorn Road, the site of the old Lache furniture store.
The building is also home to Lache Neighbourhood Management, the community safety wardens, a community development worker, a sports development coach and a new enterprise coach.
Lache Park Ltd supports the local community in a number of ways including running a fruit and vegetable scheme from the community centre, an over-60s club and sports projects with youngsters.
Local councillors, board members and representatives from local agencies joined local residents and volunteers for an open day to celebrate the move.
Lache Park Ltd would like to thank Lache Neighbourhood Management, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Urenco UK Ltd, Chester District Housing Trust and SRB/Business Development Reserve Fund for making the building of Hawthorn House possible.
Hawthorn House’s meeting room is available for hire.
