Firefighters had to make their way to an incident in Neston on foot last night (Saturday, July 16) just after 11pm.
The fire in a field involving a hay bale, at Church Lane, was put out using handheld extinguishers.
One fire engine from Ellesmere Port attended the incident, which it is believed was started deliberately.
