A bank team and PR agency have raised more than £2,000 for Claire House Hospice by enjoying afternoon tea.

The commercial team at NatWest and PR agency Mason Media held the event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chester, which was attended by over 100 guests.

Mulled wine was served on arrival and guests took their seats to be serenaded with Christmas carols sung by the choir at Abbey Gate College.

This was followed by a sumptuous Christmas-themed afternoon tea.

During the afternoon there was an opportunity to browse quality stalls with many fantastic raffle prizes also up for grabs.

NatWest’s relationship manager for the education and not-for-profit sector Denise Hignett said: “We are delighted to have raised more than £2.000 for such a deserving charity as Claire House.

“For a long while we had been wanting to organise an event with key stakeholders across the city to support Claire House and, together with Mason Media, we were pleased to make this happen.

“Claire House carry out such amazing work for children and their families across the North West and we are proud to support them.”
