National Anti-Bullying Week was marked with a week of events at Frodsham CE Primary School.

A field of blue windmills was laid out in an impressive display at the front of the school.

There were also activities for pupils throughout the week including a judo taster and relaxation workshops.

Headteacher Lucy Kirby said: “We’ve had a great time and all the children have engaged brilliantly in the activities.

“It’s so important to promote anti-bullying to keep our school a safe and happy place.”

The activities were designed to help pupils learn about different forms of bullying and how to be a good friend.

National Anti-Bullying Week aims to raise awareness and highlight its impacts on children and young people at school, in the community or online.

This year it ran from November 16-20 with the theme to ‘make a noise about bullying’.

On Friday there was a special presentation was held in front of the school and parents.

Each class had created a performance about bullying including raps, songs and poems all written by the children to make a noise themselves.
