FOOD-LOVING mums enjoyed a range of locally-made edible treats at a Cheshire farm this Mother's Day.
Families travelled from all over the region to enjoy the market at Yarrangall Green Farm in Manley on Sunday.
Local family company, The Family JAM Production co-hosted the fair, which included a collection of Japanese photographs as a mark of respect for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami.
Photographer James Gardener, who took the pictures during a recent visit to see his son who is living in a coastal town south of Tokyo, said: “Throughout our trip we were struck by the calm resilience of the people and their determination to get on wherever possible with business as usual.”
Visitors were also treated to music from Olly Parkinson, a young musician from Mouldsworth.
Celia Toler and her sister Pam's ams, marmalades, chutneys, jellies, sauces and mustards were a huge hit on the day.
Flowers, sculptures, hand-made cards and bags were proudly displayed, and hungry visitors enjoyed bacon butties, hot soup and pizza.
Due to the success of the Mother’s Day market, the farm is holding another event at midsummer, on Friday June 24 from 6.30-9.30pm.
