Children at Tarporley CE Primary School enjoyed mud larks as part of an international day.
Reception class celebrated nature, for the third year running, on World Forum International Mud Day.
The children were given free reign to wallow in mud, cake themselves in clay, indulge in some serious body painting and squish gloop to their hearts content with the knowledge that, for once, there would be no-one to tell them not to.
