A SALTNEY centre which cares for people with neurological conditions is joining forces with a Chester retailer for a big fundraising raffle.

The MS Support Centre, which helps patients and carers of people who have conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and ME, is launching the Next Step Appeal Raffle.

The fundraiser aims to generate enough funds to pay for the completion of a project to expand the facilities on its River Lane site.

And the charity has teamed up with the Currys PC World store on the Greyhound Retail Park for the raffle, which will see a huge range of technology prizes on offer.

Peter Harrison, manager of the store, said: “We are delighted to be supporting our local community and helping this worthwhile charity to reach their target so they can take their next step and turn an industrial unit into a homely, inviting and engaging space.”

Tickets will cost £2 and the draw will take place on July 8. Raffle prizes on offer include HDTVs, iPods, camcorders and laptop computers.
