THE stars of World Cup mountain bike racing headed to Tattenhall at the weekend to battle it out in the Euro 4Xfestival.
On Saturday, spectators saw the stars of the UK’s NPS 4X compete and on Sunday they were able to see Europe’s best in the UK leg of the European NPS 4X series.
The event was held at the Hale Superbole, in Harthill on the Bolesworth Estate, on the world cup style track designed by Phil Saxena.
MTB Pursuits also hosted Dirt Wars UK which ran alongside the NPS Series. This event saw some of the best freestyle dirt jump riders in their adrenaline filled routines.
Lee Johnson of MTB Pursuits, who runs the bike and board park at Hale Superbole, said: “It was a fantastic event. We heard nothing but good things about our track. It was great to see some of Europe’s top riders take to it and be suitably impressed. It was a real honour for us to host the NPS event.”
MTB pursuits runs coaching courses and the track is available to use from Wednesday through to Sunday. For more information contact Mr Johnson on 07760 395512 or go to www.mtbpursuits.co.uk.
