BEAUTY is blooming at Mount Pleasant Gardens for charity.

The Kelsall-based attraction is opening to the public this Bank Holiday weekend as part of the National Garden Scheme.

Entrance fees will be donated to groups including Macmillan Cancer Trust, Marie Curie and Help the Hospices.

Owner Louise Darlington said: “We have extended our bog garden which is a work in progress but our laburnum arch will be in full bloom.”

Mount Pleasant is open on Sunday and Monday from 12-5pm. Entry is £4 adults; £1 children.
