A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital following a collision with a car on the A41 Whitchurch Road this afternoon (September 28).
The Suzuki bike and a silver Nissan Micra collided at a junction near Whitehouse Pine and Antiques, Waverton, shortly before 2.30pm.
The male motorcyclist, who is thought to be in his early 30s, was airlifted to Aintree Hospital with suspected fractured ribs.
The driver of the Nissan - a woman in her late 60s - was seen by paramedics at the scene but required no hospital treatment.
Anybody with any information about the collision is asked to contact Cheshire police on 101, quoting incident number 604 of September 28.
