More traffic delays on Chester flyover

MOTORISTS were held up in another gridlock as lanes on Chester’s flyover were closed for yet more repairs.

Cheshire County Council will keep a lane from the Fountains roundabout to the City Walls closed until early next week.

Work began on June 16 last year to waterproof and resurface Chester’s inner ring road flyover at St Martin’s Way and was scheduled to finish by the end of November.

But two months later, drivers are still faced with queues.
