A REFURBISHED store opens its doors next week.

Bosses at Marks & Spencer are ready to unveil their re-designed Northwich branch on Thursday, June 15.

Work began in March and the re-design is part of the company's programme to modernise its entire chain over the next few years.

The 15,000 sq ft store will feature a completely new design including brighter lighting, free-flow walkways and contemporary fitting rooms. Cutting edge architectural design will give the store a modern look, allowing the products to stand out.

Staff will celebrate with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony, champagne reception, chef demonstrations and live music.

The new layout will give more choice across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and lingerie. Limited Collection Autograph fashions will also be available for the first time, and there will be an in-store bakery.

Northwich store manager Celia Roberts said: 'The re-designed store brings cutting edge design to Northwich with a fresh, new environment. We're counting down the days to when we can unveil our exciting new re-design to customers.'
