THE owners of a Jack Russell puppy are pleading for those who stole him not to allow him to become another RSPCA statistic.

The 20-week-old puppy was taken from outside Mollington Farm Shop on Friars Park Farm while it sunbathed with its mother on October 10, at around 2pm.

The thieves entered the shop to buy some eggs and, as they were leaving, owner Christine Jones realised the puppy had gone. The thieves were driving an old black BMW.

Christine said: “The puppy is white with black head with brown eye brows and cheeks, two black markings either side of his body with very small black spots all over and most importantly a black docked tail.

“He is a proper farm dog always outside by his choice; if confined inside in a house he will most certainly chew and probably be kicked out and become another RSPCA statistic.”

His mother was ill after having the puppies and cannot have anymore.

Christine said: “She is most upset and wanders around the farm aimlessly looking for him, subsequently she is not eating as she is missing him so much.”
