TATTENHALL country market celebrated its 30th anniversary with a bumper crop of goodies.
Founder member Carole Goodinson opened the market, which regularly attracts more than 20 different producers, selling a wide variety of crafts, and food.
Carole was helped by Jackie Holland, who provided a delicious chocolate cake, and Ruth Hall, who made and hand-decorated a beautiful celebration cake.
Tattenhall resident Liz Mogg has been chairman of the village country market association for 20 years.
Liz, who is busy making Christmas puddings for the Christmas market, said: “We have changed so much over the years; we now have a much wider variety of crafts and produce than ever before.
“But the credit crunch is biting just as hard for country markets as on the high street, so we do need people to come in and support their local producers more than ever.”
Tattenhall Country Market is held every Friday 9.15-11.15am and their Christmas market is on December 6 from 2-4pm.
