A MAN was stabbed in the chest in Frodsham in the early hours of Saturday morning (July 18) .
Cheshire police were called to a property in Eddisbury Square just after 1am following reports of an assault.
A 26-year-old man had suffered what is believed to be a knife wound to the chest.
He was taken to hospital and his condition is stable.
A 22-year-old local woman was arrested at the scene and will appear in Vale Royal Magistrates this morning.
