A PERVERT has admitted having thousands of images of child porn and indecent videos on his computer.
Robert Brown, of Hereward Road, Boughton, pleaded guilty to 23 counts of possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children and attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child under 16.
Brown, 41, replied ‘guilty’ as each of the counts were read out to him at Chester Crown Court on Monday last week.
During 2007 he made and sent to other internet users a series of videos and photographs showing indecent images of children.
He made level one images on January 8, January 24, July 22, August 12 and August 21.
And on March 13 he made two level four videos followed by another on July 8.
In April that year he made four videos ranging from level one to level three in seriousness.
On April 8 2007 he made two level four images available to contacts on Yahoo Messenger.
Then on June 10, 2007, Brown distributed 93 photos online.
On July 1 2007, he caused a child to look at an image of himself and engage in sexual activity.
On August 10, 2007 he distributed 106 photos to one internet user and 275 to another and made a level three photograph.
On September 26, 2007, he distributed a further 40 indecent photos.
And between August 19 and September 27 2007, he attempted to persuade a girl under 16 to send him indecent photographs of herself on her mobile phone.
He admitted possessing 15,933 indecent photos of children between September 26, 2007 and February 6 this year.
On April 9 2008, he made a level five video of a child depicting the most extreme level of abuse.
Brown was released on bail on the conditions that he has no unsupervised contact with a child under 16 and has no access to the internet except for work purposes. He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register.
He will return to Chester Crown Court on November 24 for sentencing.
