A MAN who smashed the windows of a car with a baseball bat minutes before being involved in a crash, was given a 12-month supervision order when he appeared before Chester magistrates on November 6.
Heze Perks, 21, of Oathills Drive, Tarporley, was a passenger in a Vauxhall Astra when he and the driver got out to shatter the windows of a van early on January 20.
Footprints at the scene in Tarvin were matched to Perks’ Nike trainers.
Perks, formerly of Tattenhall Lane, Beeston, was found guilty of criminal damage in his absence on October 14.
He was given a 12-month community sentence with a supervision requirement and was ordered to pay £265 compensation and £50 prosecution costs.
A further hearing for an ASBO will take place on December 4.
Perks has since been charged with driving while disqualified and drink driving on November 8 and will have to attend court again on December 10.
