A MAN has been fined £650 for exposing himself in a Chester taxi queue.
At Chester Magistrates Court Craig Lamb, 29, of Church Road in Buckley, pleaded guilty to exposing himself, being drunk and disorderly in a public place and obstructing a PC.
The three offences took place in the early hours of March 13 on Bridge Street and Pepper Street in Chester.
CCTV footage of Mr Lamb exposing himself was shown to magistrate Alan Borg.
After viewing it he told Lamb, who works in car sales in Broughton, that he was saddened to see someone who works and has never been in trouble before in front of him for behaving in such a bizarre and offensive manner.
Mr Borg added: “But this is the lower end of the scale for this type of offence. There appears not to be any other deep-seated problems of this nature.
“There is no evidence of any females distressed as a result of this action.
“I hope it was a one-off incident.”
Kate Thew, defending, said Lamb had drunk eight pints of lager and did not remember what happened.
“He was deeply shocked as it was very out of character for him,” she said after her client was shown the video.
“He is deeply apologetic.”
