A 48-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with stealing hundreds of pounds from a city centre bar.
Paul William Cooper, of Plas Dinas in Blacon appeared before Chester Magistrates Court on Wednesday (January 23) charged with theft.
On December 30 last year Cooper entered the Compass Bar on Ludlow Road in Chester and stole £860 in cash, it is alleged.
Cooper has been bailed and is due to appear back before Chester Magistrates on March 3 for trial.
