A FRODSHAM man accused of harassing a woman via text messages has appeared in court.
Anthony Keith Horton, of Ashton Drive, is also charged with assault, criminal damage and public order offences.
The 22-year-old appeared at Vale Royal Magistrates Court.
The first offences are alleged to have taken place at 5pm on January 27. He is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and also assault by beating. He denied both charges.
At 6.30pm on the same day he is accused of again using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and two counts of assault by beating against two females. He again denied both charges.
On the same day he pleaded guilty to damaging wood, a lock and a letter box but denied damaging the lock on a patio door.
He is also accused of harassment between January 26-29 when he is alleged to have sent threatening or intimidating text messages to a female.
He was released on bail and ordered to appear on April 26 for a pre-trial review.
