A 27-year-old man has been charged in relation to the robbery of a convenience store in Winsford.
Lee Hathaway, of Middlemass Road in Liverpool, was arrested on Wednesday (March 2) and charged with five counts of robbery, including that of McColls in Cheviot Square on January 1.
The other counts relate to incidents committed in shops in the Halton area in January and February.
Hathaway appeared at North Cheshire Magistrates Court in Runcorn on Thursday (March 3), when he was remanded in custody.
He will appear at Chester Crown Court on April 5.
