THE M56 has re-opened after a five car collision brought traffic to a standstill in Chester.
Traffic is still slow after the incident on the eastbound carriageway between junction 15 at the M53 and junction 14 at Hapsford.
The vehicles involved have been moved to the hard shoulder.
Motorists have been warned to avoid the area.
