A three-vehicle collision on the M56 eastbound between junctions 12 and 14 caused severe congestion for motorists on Friday afternoon (November 13).
The motorway was partially blocked and there was queueing traffic while emergency services dealt with the incident. All lanes are now clear.
A spokesperson for Cheshire police , which was called to the scene at 2.11pm, said one person sustained minor injuries in the incident.
