A BUTCHER let his customers see exactly where their meat comes from – by placing two live cows outside his shop.
Passers-by could have their photograph taken with the prize-winning Cheshire cattle outside Dutton’s Butchers in Church Street, Kelsall, which were bought by the shop’s owner Wally Dutton to show the origins of their produce.
The cows, both reared on Cheshire farms, have been dubbed ‘the best money can buy’.
Andrew Brittleton, manager of Dutton’s of Kelsall, said: “This is something we do every year to say thank you to our customers by displaying the best cattle money can buy.
“Two beasts like that outside our shop certainly attract attention and customers can have their photo taken and see exactly where their meat comes from.”
