A COUPLE have juggled a new baby and a jet set business with securing a contract with one of the country’s biggest low cost airlines.

David and Nicola Palmer of Stiperstones Close in Little Sutton have been running their Perfect Getaways holiday home business for just under two years.

They are now sky high after securing a deal with budget airline Ryanair and launching partner website www.ryanairlettings.com. The site allows customers who have bought or looked to find flights on www.Ryanair.co.uk to also find their perfect holiday home.

Nicola and David’s business dream started when they began letting out their holiday home in Fuerteventura.

David said: “We realised how easy it was to let it out so we started letting other people’s holidays homes out for them for a small fee and it just grew.”

Eventually the business became so successful Nicola gave up her Building Society manager job to work on the business full time and 12 months ago David took voluntary redundancy from his job to become full time.

David said: “We had to compete against much bigger companies than ours to secure the Ryanair deal. At the moment there is just Nicola and myself and a few agency workers so it was a big deal to win it.”

The couple secured the deal in December and on January 1 their first son Arthur was born.

David said: “We were back to work by January 4 and had to juggle looking after the baby and work.”

The couple have already had 1,700 properties sign up to the website in just threeweeks, and with ne million unique users to the Ryanair site a day this is set to grow.

They are now set to expand and plan to recruit 36 people this year, and move into an office in Deeside.
