ADRENALIN junky Peter Hampson says he is having no trouble keeping focused on the Election but fears the postal vote could affect the election.
The Liberal Democrat candidate says he is receiving a positive response from voters and feels it will be a three-way-fight between the major parties.
He said: “I’m running on adrenalin.
“It’s tremendous, I’ve been going around and talking to people and a lot of people have said they’ve voted for me.”
Sharing the concerns of his rival candidate over the postal vote palaver which has seen scores of people not receiving their ballot papers, he added: “I think it will play a part in the result.
“We are strongly considering putting in a letter of complaint regarding the postal vote.
“It’s just miss-management and it will affect all the parties.
“They should have got the forms out earlier.
“We’ve been telling people they still have the opportunity to do a proxy vote but there are many that haven’t.
“I have been told that the turn out is up to about 70% throughout Weaver Vale.”
