A LAW FIRM is lending its support to a scheme to help staff get fitter and healthier, inspired by the company’s Race for Life runners.

Walker Smith Way has a team of seven runners preparing for the women’s 5k Race for Life for Cancer Research UK, which takes place on June 19 across the country.

To coincide with the race, local personal trainer Jamie Leighton of Living Fit, has been drafted in to offer health and fitness advice through a complementary one-to-one consultation available to all Walker Smith Way staff.

Marketing manager Holly Nelson has taken on a different challenge by running in the Endurancelife Classic Ultra Marathon in Cornwall this month. “As a company we understand the importance of giving back to our community – supporting charities wherever we can is one way we can do this. We’ve got a lot of keen runners and sports people within the firm, and we’re always eager to support them in their charitable endeavours,” she said.
