LACHE youngsters have been enjoying a fun-packed feast of activities.

A healthy eating workshop saw about 15 children make healthy pizzas and fruit kebabs with Anna Simpson, a community food worker with the Chester Healthy Living Centre.

Youngsters also got involved in a multi-sports session on the multi-use games area (Muga). The morning session, run by Dan Burns from Lache Park Ltd and Erroll Stephenson-Tyrell from Genesis Training, saw children play hockey, quick cricket, basketball, and football among other games.

Children aged eight to 16 were also able to take to the airwaves as part of the Lache FM weekly webcast.

More than 20 youngsters attended the afternoon session, and chose tracks along with talking about community news and national news during the slots.

The activities were funded by Chester and District Housing Trust and Lache FM.
