STUDENTS at Chester’s King’s School enjoyed their recent 10-day trip to America.

A party of 35 pupils and four members of staff paid a visit to New York and took in sights such as the Empire State Building, Central Park and Ground Zero.

The students then travelled to Stowe, where they skied for five days, as well as visiting the local cinema, indulging in tenpin bowling and touring a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory.

They then spent a night in Boston where their evening meal was taken in the Cheers bar. The following day was spent sightseeing and visiting the ship Victory and Quincy market, before returning home.
