KING’S School pupils from Chester will aim to hit the right notes in an evening of music at St Werburgh’s Church in the city.

They will perform on Friday, March 19, from 7pm, with proceeds going to the chapel refurbishment at Catholic High School.

Music will include Telemann’s Viola Concerto With Strings, a selection of songs from a madrigal choir and a big band performing Basin Street Blues, Birdland and other pieces.

Organist Roger Fisher will also be appearing as guest soloist.

Tickets, £5, are available from the Rev Fr Paul Shaw, Catholic High School or on the door.
