TWO King’s School teenagers are flying high after they were awarded a place on the RAF’s air cadet pilot scheme.
Graham Bendall, 17, of Mold, completed 12 hours of flying instruction as part of the course at Tayside Aviation in Dundee, ending in a solo flight.
King’s School combined cadet force squadron leader, Karen Shapland, said: “We are extremely proud of Graham; he came top of his class, passing the written element with a score of 92%.Š
In spite of the weather’s best efforts,ŠGraham completed the course successfully.”
James Edholm, 17, of Chester, will complete the training course in February.
