A JUDGE has warned three Chester men: “Don’t be so stupid again”, after they were caught producing cannabis.

Clint Weadon, 24, of Clover Lane, Lache, and Shane Lloyd, 25, of Birch Road, Chester were charged with producing cannabis and Stephen Paul Weadon, 49, admitted permitting production of cannabis at his home address, Decoy Cottage, Rough Hill, Marlston cum Lache.

All three men were ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay £200 towards prosecution costs.

At Chester Crown Court, Judge Nicholas Woodward urged the three to heed his warning, adding: “If you do this again, you will be going to prison.”
