An individual has been charged with a string of vandalism offences across Chester city centre.

Jami Kaysen, 33, of Bromborough in Wirral was  charged with four offences of criminal damage after answering to police bail on Friday.

The 33-year-old was arrested  after dozens of sites across the city centre were sprayed with a  ‘tag’ reading JAKA last year.

The suspect has been charged in relation to vandalism on four sites including Chester Cathedral and the historic Rows.

Kaysen has been bailed and will appear before Chester Magistrates on February 11.
