Staff and customers of Eddisbury Fruit Farm in Kelsall have celebrated 70 years of fruit growing and 10 years of producing Cheshire Apple Juice in its distinctive green bottle.

The fruit farm was established in 1936 by Leslie Haworth and his son Colin now runs the business with business partner Michael Dykes.

Colin's pruning demonstrations were one of the highlights of the birthday celebrations which included a farmers' market. Visitors could also see how the juice is made.

The fun went on into the evening when guests enjoyed a barn dance and barbecue with entertainment provided by folk band, Foxes Bark.
