FARNDON will play host to a mix of Irish musical talent this month.
One of the Emerald Isle’s biggest rising stars will be performing his lilting melodies tonight (Thursday), which have earned him impressive accolades including song of the year and best newcomer at various award ceremonies across his home country Ireland.
Derek Ryan is used to playing his country-inspired tracks to crowded venues, but for his visit to the North West on his first UK tour he has chosen to play at Farndon Sports & Social Club.
And another Irish talent will be following in Derek’s footsteps on November 26 when singer Stephen Smyth and his band bring some entertainment to the club.
As well as singing, Stephen plays a range of different instruments including the steel guitar, saxophone and mandolin. He has performed all over the UK.
