INTERNATIONAL pianist Graham Peters has returned to Cheshire after the recent death of his aunt and godmother who was cared for at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd at Backford.
Graham said: “My family and I were so amazed by the care that my aunt received from the nursing teams at the hospice, that I felt it was only right to give something back in return for their kindness.”
The musician played at the recent fundraising event which took place at Cheshire Polo Club and he will be playing at the next event – A Touch of the Ritz comes to Mollington – on Sunday, August 5.
Amanda Le Bretton, hospice fundraising manager, said: “We are exceedingly grateful to Graham for giving his time so freely to help raise the much needed funds for the ongoing running costs of the hospice.”
