There will be spooky goings-on at the Coliseum Leisure Park next week.

To celebrate the release of the rebooted family favourite movie, the famous Ghostbusters car will be visiting the centre on Friday, July 15, keeping a close eye on any paranormal activity.

As seen in the original 1984 film, the white and red Ecto-1 wagon automobile was driven through the streets of New York catching ghosts.

Visitors are invited to have their photo taken with the iconic car between 4pm and 9pm, in time for one of the first screenings of the movie at the Vue Cinema that day.

The hotly anticipated new movie boasts the first entirely female main cast, with actresses including Melissa McCarthy and Kirsten Wiig.

Rebecca Newman, spokesperson for The Coliseum, said: “It’s without doubt that Ghostbusters is a legendary movie and its return to the big screen is really exciting.

“To celebrate this fun and hilarious film we had to match it with a fun addition to our cinema experience. That’s why we’re calling in the most famous item from the movie!”
