HUNTINGTON Primary School pupils are ready to hit the road after completing the Let’s Bike cycle course.

Year 5 children took to two wheels to learn how to cycle safely and sensibly, following in the tracks of Year 6, who enjoyed their own Bikeability training earlier in the year.

School co-ordinator Dianne Houghton and police liaison officer Karl Williamson oversaw the programme, which included both written and practical exercises. Both were impressed with the pupils’ understanding and attitude throughout.

The young cyclists received a certificate, gift and advice on how to further improve their skills.
