POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a sex attack in Hoole.
An 18-year-old woman was walking along Hoole Road at 9.30pm on Monday, July 14 when she became aware of a scruffy man walking behind her.
The man caught up with her close to the Oaklands Hotel and sexually assaulted her.
After crossing the road in an attempt to get away, she was assaulted again near the speed camera alongside the park.
She managed to get to safety by going to a friend’s house and the man then ran off.
He is described as white, in his late 30s to early 40s with very blond short hair and wearing jeans with a blue striped top.
