AROUND 800 people have been affected by a power cut in Chester.
At 10.57am today the city centre and surrounding areas, including Hoole, were hit by the ‘cable fault’ which engineers are currently trying to fix.
Most customers affected have had their electricity restored through another sub-station source.
A ScottishPower spokeswoman said they were trying to get power back to those remaining customers and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
